About Clair Hume
At the time our interview was recorded, Clair Hume was a publisher at UQP, and she is now a publisher at Thames & Hudson Australia.
Clair has worked in publishing for over a decade. She began her career in-house at Penguin Books where she was the recipient of the company Innovation Award.
In 2016, she joined Affirm Press to launch their children’s book list and went on to publish an award-winning and commercially successful selection of books for children and young adults.
Clair has worked with many well-loved children’s book creators and published award-winning books across the age ranges of children’s and young adult literature.
