About ‘The Dragon Snare: Jaws of Night’
The second adventure in the enthralling Dragon Snare series, from beloved fantasy author Rhiannon Williams, is perfect for fans of Legend of Zelda and How to Train Your Dragon.
Henry Haddow, an orphan of a great war between dragons and humans, has always wanted to become a knight. When he found a magical sword that would grant him a single wish, his dream was within reach. But he had to use the sword in a chance encounter with a dragon called Snare … and it turned her into a human.
If anyone finds out about Snare, it’ll start a world-ending war. So Henry is determined to keep her true identity a secret – especially when he and Snare are among those chosen to search for the missing Princess Nialla in the mysterious Dreamwood.
If Henry finds the princess, he’ll get his chance to become a knight. But first he must survive the dangers lurking within the Dreamwood, from ghastwolves to frost faeries to the terrifying Nightmare Weaver …
Brimming with rich world-building and terrifying creatures, Jaws of Night is perfect for readers aged 9–14 years and fans of Wings of Fire, Deltora Quest and Rangers Apprentice.
